2. Order Cancellation by Customers

Customers can request order cancellations under the following conditions:

  • Before Processing & Shipment: Orders can be canceled before they are processed or dispatched. Customers must submit a cancellation request via their HosurEkart account or by contacting our support team at 8110839533.

  • After Order Processing: If the order has already been processed or shipped, cancellations will not be accepted. However, customers may initiate a return request as per our Return Policy, if eligible.

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunds for prepaid orders will be processed within 7-10 business days after cancellation approval.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: COD orders can be canceled before shipment. Frequent cancellations of COD orders may result in account restrictions.

3. Order Cancellation by HosurEkart

HosurEkart reserves the right to cancel orders under the following circumstances:

  • Unavailability of Product due to stock depletion.

  • Payment Failure or Incomplete Transactions.

  • Incorrect Pricing or Product Description Errors.

  • Fraudulent Transactions or Terms Violation.

  • Non-Serviceable Locations where delivery is not possible.

In such cases, customers will be notified immediately, and applicable refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.

4. Refund Process

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

  • COD Orders: No refund is applicable as payment is collected at delivery.

  • Store Credit Option: Customers may opt for store credit instead of a refund for faster reordering and future purchases.

5. Legal Compliance

This cancellation policy adheres to:

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019 – Ensures fair cancellation and refund policies.

  • Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 – Mandates transparency in e-commerce transactions.

  • Information Technology Act, 2000 – Governs online transactions and digital operations.

  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Guidelines – Regulates online payments, refunds, and security protocols.

  • Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 – Provides a legal framework for resolving disputes related to cancellations.

6. Dispute Resolution

  • If any disputes arise regarding cancellations, customers may escalate the matter to the Customer Grievance Officer.

  • All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Hosur, Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, India – 635109.
